Term 2                  Saturday 22nd April                        Rehearsals Commence

                                Saturday 3rd June                            Concert, 5:30pm, OMB – WSSO1 & WSSO2, w QYO JSE

                                Sunday 11th June                            Festival 10am and Concert 3 30pm with SPLC – Sinfonia & Chamber

WSSO 1&2 on Saturday 3^rd June and 10^th June instead of rehearsals are invited to play a Solo piece of their choice with piano accompaniment, followed by BYO morning tea. Families are invited to be cheer leading audience.

 

Term 3                  Saturday 15^th July                            Rehearsals Commence

                                Saturday 9^th September                                Concert, 5pm, AHS [to be confirmed]

 

Term 4                  Saturday 7^th October                      Rehearsals Commence

                                Saturday 18^th November              Concert, 5pm, AHS  [to be confirmed]

Sunday 26^th November                 2017 Auditions

 

 

• Membership Fees for Term 2 can be paid on Saturday.
•  Thank you to the families who have already paid for Term2

Fees per term – $120 payable at the start of each term.

Payment Options:

• Cash/cheques will be accepted at rehearsal on Saturday.

Please name your deposit with your child’s name.

 

• Performance Uniform-

White T-shirt for WSSO1 & WSSO2, Blue T-Shirt for Sinfonia & Chamber and blue bottoms (jeans or pants – not short skirts or short shorts!). T-shirt cost: $20

Juanita currently lectures at the QLD Conservatorium in music theory, and in aural skills.

We strongly recommend all players in WSSO should be enrolled in private lessons. We are happy to recommend names of teachers.
